Thinking a lot about “complements” and “complementary” relationships.

I think one path to joy and fulfillment in life is to see everyone as a complement to yourself. All of the annoyances as gifts. All of the dark, as those who create space for your light. All of the folks who worry, nit-pick, micro-manage, detail, give a discerning look towards everything - they are there so you can live freely, allow your mind to wander, and dream.

Make sure to thank those who might be the most difficult to be thankful for.

The Menu

I hear you say my body is not beautiful
And to that, I say you are blind
For even though your nose is crooked, you lips too small and yours scars so big, I see you as beautiful
If you judge me by my body, you are lacking vision
For beauty is not a 5’7 blonde blogger that spends her time tweeting about fashion and … fashion.
She’s smart too, you say, becoming a lawyer.
Well, sadly my man, Intelligence is not soul
